What a great book!

Memoirs of a Geisha
By Arthur Golden
This masterpiece takes you to Japan, following the life of a young lady as she is sold to an okiya (geisha house), learns to be a geisha and then becomes one of the most prominent geisha in all of Gion. Wonderfully written; draws you in and keeps you wanting to read more.
The Reddick Library has 2 copies of this book in regular print, 1 copy in large print, and 2 copies on audio CD.
