Evelyn Glennie is a Grammy-winning classical percussionist whose solo work in unrivalled. She is also deaf. For Evelyn, sound is palpable and rhythm is the basis of everything. Without vibration, there is nothing.

Second Friday Movie is for Reddick Library card holders 18 years of age and older.

B-Tweens Club

Hey 5th and 6th graders! The Reddick Library is offering a new after school club just for you. Meetings are the last Tuesday of every month from 3:15-5:00 pm beginning in January 2007. There will be cool events:
Guitar Hero Competitions
Origami
DDR
Tie Dyed Shirts
and some exciting book talks.
There is no charge for joining but you must have a valid Reddick Library Card to participate. For more information call the Library at 434-0509.

Trying to find that perfect gift for that special someone? Need some ideas? How about purchasing a book IN HONOR of or IN MEMORY of someone for the Holidays. You can donate any dollar amount you wish, then come into the Library, fill out a form and we do the rest. Each book purchased with the money will have a label stating who the book was purchased for and that they were from you. What a wonderful way to to say, "thank you" to someone special, or to honor a deceased loved one.
